My Full Moon
By Gustavo Lapis Ahumad
I dont think of you as often as I once did You no
longer caress my night sky as you once did, When you were there omnipresent
and ever glowing What was once constant is now occasional There was
seldom a night that expelled your participation You were always the Moon
Constant, with vigilance over my darkened skies With a warm smile and
warm eyes you nurtured a decaying dominion Now all that is left are
bittersweet memories of a Queen long gone I dont think of you as
often as I once did You no longer caress my night sky as you once did,
When you were there omnipresent and slowly fading What was once
Providence is now Silenced Once, you were always the Moon Now you are
like the Full moon Mysterious and Scarring Infrequent and Occasional
Rarely provoking thoughts But when you do, Its all about you
My beautiful full Moon |
