Mob Wars

By Marcus Pan

A common happening in battles is when the local populace gets involved. The population listed under a country's statistics are in family groups. There is an average of five members per family, but only three of these can fight.

There can be no solid base as to the size of a defending mob. Too many situational factors (cities, towns, ruralness, etc.) form this problem. Therefore, a mob's size will always be the DM's discretion.

Obviously the mob will be poorly trained and prepared and do not fare well against trained knights. The basic mob member is as follows:

1st level fighter
HP: 5
AC: 10
DAM: 1D6 (varies; picks, hoes, shovels, etc.)
#/ATT: 1
