Poetry
I Walk Alone
By Jaken Steele
I walk through the streets again As I have done so many
times before I feel so alone
The blanket of night covers me I am the darkness,
mystery abounds I am solitude standing
Invisible in the crowd No more than an ordinary man
But yet, much more
The face in the darkness When the rest of the world
H as shut the light to sleep
Never to see peace Never to see the light of love I
walk through the night
alone
