Running Alone

By Shadowrunner

Running in the dark
I leave my mark,
On the land I cross
Like the northern moss,
It is there to stay.

It will be there
That I pay the fare,
I have no owner
For I am a loner,
Therefore I do what I please.

If a land I siege
I do it for no liege,
And if I be trapped
My neck I prefer snapped.
Than to be controlled by another.
